What exactly is Moativational Medicine™?
Moativational Medicine™ demonstrates the direct link between our emotions and our physical ailments. Its philosophy helps identify the hidden and not-so-hidden emotional under-currents arising from stresses, conflicts and traumas, and how these influence our physical health. It shows how we are more than a biological construction of organs, tissues, and cells, and that we are shaped and affected by a much wider range of mental and emotional factors.
Watch Monica’s testimonial:
Kevin Patton was in hospital on life support with terminal leukaemia. Doctors said he had 5 days to live. After experiencing a dose of Moativational Medicine™, 2 weeks later Kevin walked unaided out of the hospital.
Kevin and countless other clients who have worked with Richard Moat have consistently proved that almost any unwanted physical condition or symptoms can be improved or remedied.
Richard's success speaks for itself, and we are particularly impressed with Richard's fun, professional and compassionate manner. One of our friends cannot speak highly enough of Richard's approach to health - she has experienced total relief from fibromyalgia and chronic knee pain.
The Moativational Medicine™ approach has successfully helped individuals arrest, reverse and prevent a recurrence of illness, from headaches to eczema and back pain to cancer.
With over 16years’ experience dealing with the connection between thoughts, feelings and physical symptoms, and over 2,700 client-facing hours, Richard’s discoveries include:
Do you suspect that there’s more to getting ill than we have been lead to believe?
Treating the physical body alone addresses symptoms but ignores the actual cause. Moativational Medicine™ gives you the understanding and the tools to identify the underlying, mostly subconscious patterns you run, enabling you to play the major role in determining how often you become, and how long you remain ill.
This dynamic training, full of insights, humour, health-transforming and life-changing information also shows you how to assess any illness and assist others to do so too.
Sue Harris had migraines for 12 years. The loss of the use of her right hand and arm ensued, with the cause, treatment and cure pronounced “unknown”. Richard’s 20-minute assessment and remedy recommendation applying the Moativational Medicine™ principles meant that Sue’s migraines and disability are today a thing of the past.

Who is Richard Moat?
Richard has been fortunate enough to study with, work alongside and learn from some of the world's outstanding pioneers in the field of mind-body medicine, not to mention exposing myself to an eclectic and broad range of positive change philosophies and techniques. He is also the proud owner of a vast library of resources fit to grace any high-street book store!
Studying such diverse subjects as psychology, therapeutics, coaching, martial arts, neuro-linguistics, philosophy, the principles of Eastern & Western medicine, nutrition and physiology has subsequently afforded him the opportunity to successfully work with individuals with all manner of physical conditions.
He does not have a scientific or medical background. At the age of eighteen he left school as an international athlete (continuing on to captain England in hockey for several years) but very ignorant of what path to follow. In stumbling to find something that inspired him as much as his sport, he came across the field of positive thinking. At first it appeared to be the answer to everything, or so he thought. Then, disaster!
The premature loss of his father to cancer set him on the road to explore the whys, whats and the hows in:
He was awed by what he learnt and experienced, in particular regarding the power of the subconscious mind and the connection between the physical, mental and emotional aspects of our being, widely referred to as the mind-body connection. A happy consequence of his years of study was achieving a Doctorate in Clinical Hypnosis in 2004.
When he was growing up, the concept that emotions can play a part in us becomming and staying unwell was somewhat alien. Today, some four decades later, the evidence suggesting emotions have always played a role is so compelling that the old addage about truth seems to sum it up rather well:
All truth passes through three stages:
2. Violent opposition
3. Accepted as self-evident.
