What a week - it has felt like a month....incredibly sad and heart-wrenching. Our thoughts are with everyone struggling with the loss of loved ones, homes, business' and the beautiful city of Christchurch.
From a distance, it is also incredibly encouraging and heart-warming to see the strength of spirit, sense of unity and 'oneness' of the people of Christchurch, New Zealand and the World in response to this catastrophic earthquake. May we not forget those who have paid with their lives in these changing times, and may we support those who remain with love and compassion. For us it has been a time to reflect, a time to remember that every day is a gift to be fully lived, and a time to appreciate that every day we have the opportunity to live a life based on love and compassion.

We had a wonderful day attending Darrelle Stevens' workshop on Saturday February 19th in Auckland. Darrelle's knowledge of the links between science and spirituality is outstanding and she offered many spiritual tools to assist us through these scientifically documented changing times. What has Shona been Reading?
I recently reached for Rhonda Byrne’s latest book, The Power as I had reached a rocky patch in my life and I was searching for a boost. The Secret has had such a positive impact in my life – in fact it was how our business first began – that I felt this was a great option.
You first wonder, “Well, I know what the Secret is (Law of Attraction), what’s the Power”. Simply, it’s the Power of Love. She explains how the Power of Love is the greatest power in the Universe. I’ve got to agree, and I did enjoy this early chapter that goes into this power. Give Love and you will receive Love. Sounds good to me!
There is discussion of how everything has a frequency. Positive feelings attract positive outcomes. There’s no doubt in my mind that the more feelings you have that are positive, the better your chance at success.
The health chapter has an interesting mention of studies about how positive feelings impact the energy of water. If we’re a high concentration of water, positive thoughts can impact our health. (We have more of this in other resources on our website)
If you enjoyed the first book, you’ll enjoy this one. The main addition is the Love factor. It’s an easy read, a beautifully presented book and something you can refer to often. While thoughts and feelings are critical to help us raise our level of happiness and improve the quality of our lives, taking inspired action is a critical step.
