  It is recommended you use a ‘Wheel of Life’  type exercise to evaluate how satisfied or dissatisfied you are in that area and then compare this to where you are in your conscious creation learning and mastery cycle.

Should I Fast and Cleanse?

Perhaps I’ve considered not eating for a day or more and at the same time using herbs and other food supplements to flush toxins out of my system. The goal is to cleanse my liver, colon, and other organs of unhealthy substances that accumulate.

There is value in any process that causes me to expect better health, but my body actually knows how to cleanse and detoxify itself. It’s doing it - or trying to do it - this moment. My body is designed to handle anything the environment or less than optimal nutrition may throw at it. My physical being is an utter miracle of adaptability.

The only obstacle to my body’s operating with peak resiliency is my pattern of thought. When I regularly give attention to what I perceive to be wrong with my life and/or wrong with the world, I somewhat close the valve through which my well-being flows from my Source. It is this well-being that keeps my body purring and humming. When this well-being is compromised, I become vulnerable.

Today I fast from thoughts of resentment, self-pity, guilt, blame, regret, and worry. I begin to cleanse myself of habits of criticism, complaining, and combativeness.

Unless I clean up my thought patterns, other cleansing regimens probably won’t have the effect I desire. If I do clean up my thought patterns, any regimen I undertake will make me shine.

A)   Ask for what you want. What you really, really want.
B)   Expect to see results, expect to have feedback in experience soon (within days, hours, minutes, seconds--feedback from the “Stream” is continuous)
C)   Feel good. When you know you can ask, and receive what you really want, you will feel terrific, clear, buoyant, outrageous, wonderful, relaxed, joyous, flowing.
D)   If for any reason you do not feel good, repeat steps 1 through 3.

Soulsong #321 - Going Green 

When I wish for more money (or experience any other desire), the Universe gets busy on my request right away. I need not even ask unless I enjoy that process, for the asking is done automatically via the thoughts that ever go forth as my vibration. But it is also those thoughts - that mental focus - that determines how much I receive. The process goes like this: a) I desire, b) the Universe sets circumstances and opportunities in motion to fulfill my desire, and c) The tricky part: I must allow the money into my experience. But I can't do it if I stay exactly as I am now, vibrationally speaking. I've got to bump up my overall happiness or nothing will permanently change. My current happiness must be closer to the happiness I would experience when I receive my desire, or we simply cannot match up.

I must complain less, appreciate more; worry less, shrug off more; envy less, admire more; remember bad times less, remember good times more; anticipate bad times less, anticipate good times more.

Even a small but consistent inner shift will begin to open the floodgates.

The Color of Joy

Soulsong #317 - Silver, Magenta, Aquamarine? 

Today I sit in silence for a while, allowing my body to relax and my mind to become still. I savor the feeling of serenity, and I stay in this quiet place as long as it feels good. During this time, I choose a color, any color, that comes to me.

Throughout the day, whenever I may feel negative emotion, I take a few moments to focus on this color instead. I use the color to take a breather from stress and agitation.

Too much to do, too little time? I go to my color.

A family member makes a bossy remark? I go to my color.

I start to kick myself again over a recent mistake? Color.

I start to worry about someone's health? Color.

I open a monthly credit card statement to find it's much larger than anticipated? Color.

I encounter a disappointment? Color.

Using this exercise, I can become adept at pulling myself out of the "Oh no's" of life. And as I reduce the time spent in negative thought and emotion, the circumstances that evoke "Oh no!" will not so readily find me. Which will - ha - cause those circumstances to shout "Oh no!" and cause me to laugh and love my colorful experience.
